gnomad and libnjb are used to access the Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox.

I did have to downgrade id3lib to 3.8.0pre2 to get gnomad to compile, but it
seems there are other apps that have had to do the same because of a possible
bug with id3lib 3.8.0.  See bug #649 and bug #468

Perhaps id3lib should be downgraded to pre2, since the "final" version seems to
have so many problems with spells?

sounds reasonable. i don't know of a single spell which works with 2.8.0 but  
not with 2.8.0pre2. 
 
I assume that the libnjb spell is for me (libs).

yeah, libnjb would probably be better in libs, there are a couple of other apps
which use it, for the same purpose as gnomad, I just didn't bother making spells
for them.  perlnjb is one, and then there is a KDE app as well.

I did try this w/ id3lib pre3, that seemed to fail.  It seems pretty specific to
id3lib pre2.  This one may have to wait until the next release (which I have no
clue when it'll be) or have id3lib downgraded to pre2.  I'd rather not have the
bug for this closed, just so when gnomad does get a version update, we can try
again.
