Since the perforce-client install an i386 binary, it does not work on ppc
architecture. The spell needs to be updated with the location of the ppc binary.

A question:
- Do you know/can you test if the PPC versions at
http://www.perforce.com/perforce/downloads/linux24ppc.html work with your setup?

Yes, I can run the binary. I did not make extensive checks of the functionnality.

Benoit, since you have a PPC machine, could you patch the perforce spell to
query for x86 or ppc and make sure the ppc installs correctly, we'll then test
the x86.

This is almost two months old... anyone with PPC able to test the arch and 
provide a patch for the spell?

well, another month and I would suggest submitting the ppc bug to perforce 
directly, marking this as won't fix.

I reopend the bug since I just made a perforce-client spell for x86, ppc and
x86_64 (the latter does not work however). I will upload the spell as well.

Fixed at change 56909. Affected files:

The version field for x86 and x86-64 have been updated to reflect p4 -V.
