Description Eric Sandall 2004-05-11 11:28:00 UTC
When selecting "Load modules" from the "Initrd Menu" I get the following error:
Error: Expected 2 arguments, found only 1
Use --help to list options

Hrm. This and Bug #6858 are probably due to my CD-ROM being a SCSI drive using
the aic7xxx module, so the ISO's ROOT is not defined yet. Will look into this.

It worked for me on my ide systems, I entered the menu and loaded parport_pc to
check it before releasing. All my code was in the kickstart-spell dir in perforce.
You will want to look at the smgl.init file.

Yeah, I'll have to work out some way (perhaps the hardware detection that's
being worked on) to have the CD-ROM (whether IDE or SCSI, the prior works
flawlessly currently, thanks. ;)) initialized for the installer. After loading
aic7xxx and sr_mod and mounting the CD-ROM device to /dev/cdrom it worked fine
from then on.

Dear sandalle (and others),
Despite stating otherwise I have tried to retain some interest in supporting my
ISO work, but the undisclosed, undiscussed and unresolved problems from the
previous year that precipitated my leaving still weigh heavily on my mind.
I can't simply "forget" them or sweep them under the carpet, and while answering
bugs and forum posts, anger and frustration eats into me like a cancer so I need
to sever these last ties.
Please enjoy the fruits of my thousand++ hours of contributions over the last
year, I hope no-one needs to spend too much time correcting anything I have done
and I hope what I started to do with the ISO is useful and the work and ideas
are continued.

0.9.3 ISO does not seem to have such bug. Fixed.
Please reopen if you can reproduce this bug.
