thunderbird installs the default prefs.js to

/usr/bin/defaults/profile/prefs.js

instead of 

/usr/lib/thunderbird-1.0/defaults/profile/prefs.js

So I guess the only solution to this is a patch to the make file?

In the thunderbird in test: 

/usr/lib/thunderbird/defaults/profile/prefs.js

Is there any reason to keep the old thunderbird 1.0 in stable? If not I'd
reccomend pushing 1.5 into stable.

Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 has been in stable for two release cycles now, closing.
