wireless-bash a wireless daemon and command line interface
Last modified: 2005-07-14 09:49:10 UTC
I've been developing, on the side, a wireless bash set of scripts, one happens to be a daemon the other is a commandline interface. I've found them very handy with switching between wireless networks from home to school. == Spell == http://68.69.201.229:8080/pub/wireless-bash/wireless-bash-spell.tgz == Package == http://68.69.201.229:8080/pub/wireless-bash/wireless-bash-0.1.tar.gz == Sign == http://68.69.201.229:8080/pub/wireless-bash/wireless-bash-0.1.tar.gz My public signature is in thw spell tarball It currently supports WEP and I've got some of the setup for WPA but haven't figured it out yet. I would perfer my public IP not end up in the main grimoires anywhere so the package would have to be moved somewhere else. I also have a subversion repo for it svn co https://68.69.201.229/svn/local/wireless-bash, username: anonsvn, passwd: anonsvn. I'm not to attached to this but I've handed it out to several poeple so far and would like the rest of sourcemage to have access to it.
updated to 0.2 had some connection problems with the initial connection on startup it's been fixed
Did you see /etc/net project? It has some stuff which appears to be similar to what you're developing, and there are some good ideas in there. The guy who's developing it is a contributor to Russian Linux distro called ALTLinux. "http://freshmeat.net/projects/etcnet/?branch_id=52602"
